Damon Watts Jaynes

Damon Watts Jaynes, 27, of Leesville passed away, Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Bennie Neal Jaynes and Tracie Ann Dawkins Taylor. He attended Gilbert High School and worked as a mechanic with Amick Farms. Damon had a zest for life, loved race cars, mudding, and shooting pool. He was a friend to many.

Surviving are his mother, Tracie Dawkins Taylor (Harry); father, Bennie Jaynes (Dawn); sisters, Alexis Ann Taylor, Emily Elizabeth Jaynes and Tiffany Rohr (Brandon). He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Randol O'Neal Dawkins; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Jaynes; as well as many extended family members and friends. Damon was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Martha Ann Worrell; and paternal grandfather, Larry Jaynes Sr.

A celebration of life visitation will be held Friday evening, June 4th from 6 until 8 o'clock at the Monetta Community Center, 266 Academy Street, Monetta, South Carolina. The family request in Damon's honor, memorials be sent to a charity of one's choice.
