Henry J. Riddlehoover

Henry J. Riddlehoover, 98, of Monetta, died Sunday, August 6, 2023. Born in Ridge Spring, SC, he was the son of the late Henry and Lona Hallman Riddlehoover. Mr. Riddlehoover was a former plant manager of Hartwell Industries of Batesburg. Upon his retirement he enjoyed farming especially his pecan orchard. A gentleman of faith, Mr. Riddlehoover was a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church of Monetta, where he served as a former deacon, Sunday school teacher and many other roles. He was also the former Mayor of Monetta.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Rikard Riddlehoover; and nephew, Danny Miller and wife, Kaye of Monetta. He is also survived by extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Faye Riddlehoover.

The service for Mr. Riddlehoover will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 9th at Bethel Baptist Church of Monetta with the Rev. Preston West officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Spring Cemetery. The family will greet friends immediately following at the graveside and at other times at the home.
