Patricia Richards

Patricia Haltiwanger Richards, 83, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023. Mrs. Richards was born in Newberry County, a daughter of the late Johnny Brooks and Ellis Mable Taylor Haltiwanger. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and loved going to church activities. Mrs. Richards loved search and find puzzles, gardening, flowers, and cats.

Surviving are her children, Ann B. Hall (Kenny), James Anthony Bouknight (Helen), Joyce Amick (Derrill), Dean Richards (Ashley); sister-in-law, Patsy Haltiwanger; grandchildren, Bob Rabon (Abbey), Eddie Rabon (Kevin), Jake Bouknight, A.J. Bouknight, Micheala Bouknight, Evan Amick (Lydia), Leighann Long (Zach) and Melissa Humphries; along with her great grandchildren, Sawyer Rabon, Juniper Rabon, Kennedy Schwartz and Connor Long. Also surviving are her siblings, Jane Caughman (Ellis), Susan Ballington and Kenny Haltiwager (Debra). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Bouknight and brother, James Brady Haltiwanger.

A memorial service for Mrs. Richards will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, February 11th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. The Rev. Mitch Bruner will officiate.
