Aline H. Hartley, 89, of Lexington, died Friday, July 23, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, July 25th, at Woodridge Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Toby Blewer, Trey Brown, Dave Flowers, Lane Felder, Mason Flowers and Mike Duke.
Mrs. Hartley was born in Neeses, SC on December 17, 1931 to the late Lawrence E Hall and Marie Hall Branham. She is the widow of the late James B. Hartley. Mrs. Hartley was a graduate of Springfield High School, where she was the Valedictorian and played on the basketball team. She retired from Southern Bell after 31 years and was the owner and operator of the Red Bank Food Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all.
Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Corn (Jeff), Nancy Shuler (Richard), Becky Edwards (Robert) and B.J. Cudd (Raymond); six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, Billy Hall (Joyce). In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Stevenson (Paul) and Laura Hall.
