Annie Baughman

Annie Lois Blanchette Baughman, 105, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, July 9th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home conducted by her nephew, the Rev. Steve Jacks. Burial will follow the service at 3:30 P.M. in Bethia Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Abbeville, SC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Active pallbearers are: Larry Lange, Terry Moore, Rev. Steve Jacks, Richard Baughman, and Harry Herrington.

Mrs. Baughman was born in Abbeville County, SC, a daughter of the late Robert Pearson and Lillie Castleman Blanchette. She was married to the late William Paul Baughman, Sr. for 52 years.

Surviving are her daughter, Marie Baughman Paradice; grandsons, William H. “Bill” Paradice, Jr. and James Michael Paradice. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, William Paul Baughman, Jr.; siblings, Vera B. Moore, Robert W. Blanchette, and Mary B. Lange.

Lois made a lasting impression on everyone she met and was greatly loved by all that knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the organization of one’s choice.
