Annie Shelton Corder

Annie Shelton Corder, 85, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Mitch Bruner officiating.

Active pallbearers are Jason Rawl, Darrell Alveshire, Matthew Alveshire, Brian Smith, Thomas Lee and Michael Pordes.
Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren, great grands and Tony Leaphart. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Corder was a member of East Side Baptist Church. She was married to the late Quitman Davis Corder Jr. She was an unconditionally loving mother, grandmother and friend. The family would like to thank Carly Adams her long term caregiver.

Surviving are her son, Thomas Linn Corder; daughters and son-in-law, Donna C. Smith of Leesville; Jo Retta Rawl (Richard) of Lexington; brother, Jimmy Shelton (Ramona) of Mableton, GA; sisters, Donis Bragg of Mableton, GA; Doris Baxter of Buchanan; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her sons, Timothy K. and Douglas B. Corder; three brothers; and three sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to East Side Baptist Church, PO Box 2159, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29070. Jo Retta and Richard Rawl will receive family and friends at their home.
