Barbara Jean Senterfeit

Barbara Jean Senterfeit, 79, of Batesburg, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends on October 16, 2023. Mrs. Senterfeit was born in Aiken, South Carolina, to the late James Benjamin and Lula Mae Williams Beck. Mrs. Senterfeit loved the Carolina Gamecocks, the beach, and most of all, her large family. She was a member of Samaria Baptist Church, where she served as secretary for many years.

Surviving are her nieces, Rhonda Baker and Wendy Connelly (Chris); nephew, Brian Senterfeit; great-nephew, Alex Baker (Kristine); great-nieces, Paige Folland (Jake), Lauren Connelly, and Rachel Connelly; great-great-nephews, Brenson Baker and Liam Folland; great-great-nieces, Annabelle Baker, Kaia Johnson, Remi Baker; In-laws, Sam and Brenda Senterfeit, Richard and Jean Senterfeit, Earlene Rushton, and Gail Senterfeit. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Senterfeit was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Roy "Snooter" Senterfeit, and her brother, Jerry Beck. Active Pallbearers are Alex Baker, Chris Connelly, Brian Senterfeit, Michael Rushton, Terry Kirkland, and Jake Folland.

The service for Mrs. Senterfeit will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, October 19th at Samaria Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Little officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaria Baptist Church, 6560 Fairview Rd, Batesburg, SC 29006.
