Barbara Maroney

Barbara Maroney, 68, of Batesburg, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 27, at Amick Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Larry Smith and Rev. Preston Foxworth officiating.
Active pallbearers are Kie Maroney, Trinity Maroney, Kevin Enlow, Austin Smith, Landon Smith, and Russ Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Leonard Frick and Richard Williams.

Mrs. Maroney was born in Berkley County, SC daughter of the late Robert “Bob” Clark and Ethel Graves Clark. She was a member of Amick Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church. She had worked for Saluda Nursing Center. She was married to the late Harvey C. “Bill Peck” Maroney.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Kimbo (Debbie) Maroney; Robert (Chanlyn) Maroney; daughters and sons-in-law, Lulu (JB) Skelton; Rena (Leonard) Frick; Opie (Jr) Lybrand; sisters, Peggy Wiggins of Columbia; Patsy (Larry) Sulter of Mt. Pleasant; Helen Blackburn of Charleston; Gail Clark of Edgefield; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Geneva Frost.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, November 26, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
