Bobbie Jean Boland

Bobbie Jean Boland, 81, of Gilbert, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Mrs. Boland was born in Lexington, SC, a daughter of the late Ottis and Thelma Rikard Sheppard. She was married to the late Edward Boland. Mrs. Boland loved crafting, tending to her yard and home, and listening to her daily sermons.

Mrs. Boland is survived by her children, Randy Amick (Gina), Teresa Barnes, Karen Eargle, Renee Price, and Donna Taylor (Russell); grandchildren, Aaron Amick, Ashley Amick, Christopher Barnes, Jennifer Barnes, Jason Eargle, Joshua Eargle, Matthew Holmes, Brittany Annis, Dalton Padgett and Miranda Padgett; along with eleven great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and another soon-to-be great great grandson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons-in-law, Wyman Barnes and Michael Price; and siblings, Henry Sheppard, Magadeline Stevens and Ellen Keisler.

A memorial service for Mrs. Boland will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, September 22nd at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Spivey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 until 3 PM.
