Bobby Boatwright

Bobby Boatwright, 69, of Batesburg, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022. Mr. Boatwright was born in Aiken County, a son of the late Jones and Annie Smith Boatwright. He was the owner and operator of Boatwright's Garage for many years. Along with his wife, he loved shopping at flea markets and attending old classic car shows. Mr. Boatwright was a hardworking and honest man who loved his family.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Christine "Tine" Boatwright; children, Timothy Boatwright (Renee), Jeremy Caudle (Beth), and Amanda Strickland (A.J.); as well as 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and one soon-to-be great grandson. Also surviving are his twin brother, Billy Boatwright (Nova) and brothers, Johnny Boatwright (Mary) and J.P. Boatwright (Wanda). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jack, Kinley and Dewey Hall, Ella Mae Wheeler and Betty Boatwright.

The graveside service for Mr. Boatwright will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 25th at Hall Town Cemetery with Rev. Starrett Hall officiating. Active pallbearers will be his grandsons.
