Bobby Brewer, Jr

Bobby Brewer, Jr, 58,of Saluda, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 23, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment at the Brewer Plantation with Rev. Joshua McClendon officiating. Active pallbearers will be Julius Bell, Cliff Long, Greg Fallaw, Jamie Fallaw, John Paradise, Seth Bickley, Dennis Davis, Blake Wooten and Matt Mealing.

Mr. Brewer was born in West Columbia, SC, son of the late Bobby Brewer, Sr and Mary Caroline Hartfield Lewis. He loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Brewer was the owner of Brewer Scrap Metal. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He is our “Man of Steel”.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Andrea Mealing Brewer; sons, Bobby “Buddy” (Valerie) Brewer III; Jeffrey Adam (Amanda) Brewer; daughter, Mary Beth Brewer (Mike Corley) ; step-father, Arthur J. Lewis; sister, Tammy (Ashley “Unk”) Tompkins; brothers, Mark “Hoss” (Melissa) Brewer; Bill Lewis; seven grandchildren, Destinee Alexis Brewer (Tyler Marchant) ; Julia Ariel Brewer (Colt Rodgers) ; Tanner Blaize Brewer; Gracelyn Rayonna Padgett; Ryder West Padgett; Aubrey Leigh Brewer; Jasmine Adrianna Brewer; and great grandchild, Carter Jack Marchant. He was preceded in death by sister, Robin Ziolkowski.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 22, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at his home.
