Brenda Hook Davis

Brenda Davis, 65, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 16, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Tom Mims and Pastor Judd Hook.

Mrs. Davis was born in Leesville, SC daughter of the late Loyce and Mary Helen Smith Hook. She is now reunited with the love of her life her husband of 40 years, Leroy Davis. She was a member of Praise Church. She loved trips to Edisto. Brenda enjoyed scrapbooking, piddling with her dollhouse, shopping especially at Goodwill, Big Lots and Dollar General. She loved tailgate parties with family, bonfires and her ugly dog Boozie. She loved celebrating Christmas Eve with her sibling and numerous nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, James “Jamie” Davis (Kellie Bates Davis) and Richard Lee Davis; niece, Angela (like a daughter) Robison (Chuck); brothers, Jimmy Hook, Russell Hook, Bobby Hook; sisters, Bonnie Meetze, Donna Stewart, Adlyne Day, Lynn Clamp; grandchildren, Wyatt Davis, Evie Robison, Austin Robison and Liam Robison. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Hook; and sisters, Carolyn Cole and Gloria “Sissy” Nausley.
