Bruce T. Hallman

LaBruce "Bruce" T. Hallman, 61, of Batesburg died Friday, October 7, 2022. Born in Prosperity, SC, he was a son of the late Clifton Elzie Hallman and Mary Lou Keisler Hallman. Bruce was a kind, generous, and patient man who was always the first to help a friend or family member in need. He was smart and a master craftsman. Bruce could fix anything or build anything to perfection and was well versed at everything. Bruce was a long time employee of West Electrical Contractors of Newberry. He loved nature, and without a doubt, you could find him on the porch drinking coffee and watching deer. Bruce had a heart of gold and loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren whom he loved to teach. He was an avid deer hunter and most recently crappie fishing. Most would say the world would be a better place if everyone was like Bruce.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Jeannene Trotter Hallman; children, Brandon (Jennifer) Hallman and Casey (Ashten) Hallman; special son, Robby (Lucy) Shealy; and five, grandchildren, Emily T. Hallman, Hunter Kyle Hallman, Bailey Mary Lou Hallman, Waylon Barrett Hallman and Magnolia Elizabeth Hallman; and special grandson, Hunter Shealy. He is also survived by his siblings, Edward (Helen) Hallman, Mildred (Lynard- deceased) Long, Myrtle (Ollie) Salter, David (Mary Ann) Hallman, Margaret (Jimmy) Boozer, Brice (Alice) Hallman, Mirinda (Ronald) Disher, Winfred (Naomi) Hallman, Marriet (Joe) Tollison, and Joseph (Mary Beth) Hallman; brother-in-law, Fairey (Ginger-deceased)Trotter and sister-in-law, Betty (Randy-deceased)Trotter; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great grandson, Ayden Hallman.

The service for Mr. Hallman will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 11th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Hallman and Rev. Andy Sandifer officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Billy Matthews Cemetery of Batesburg officiated by Rev. Judd Hook. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
