Carol C Risinger

Carol C. Risinger, 79, of Mullins, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 2, at Providence Baptist Church in Leesville, with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Glenn Ailshie, Rev. Larry Pitts and Rev. Jerry Risinger officiating. Active pallbearers will be Alan Risinger, Josh Powers, Jeremiah Powers, Buddy Smith, Shane Clark and Hoyt Clamp. Honorary pallbearers will be Clyde Collins, John Kirby, Bobby Harrelson, Harold Lambert, Buddy Rodgers, Truman Clamp, Chris Humphries, Nelson Oswald, Holden Clark, and Robert Smith.

Mr. Risinger was born in Batesburg, SC, son of the late Odell James and Mary Polly Fallaw Risinger. He was a certified photographer by New York Institution of Photography.

Surviving are his wife, Vara B Risinger; brothers, James Robert Risinger; Jerry David Risinger both of Leesville; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Carswell of Leesville.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 31, at Cox-Collins Funeral Home, 715 South Main Street, Mullins, SC, 29574 and from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 1, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, 115 North Pine Street, Batesburg, SC 29006.
