Carson Lavaun Fox

Carson LaVaun Fox, of Aiken, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 26, at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Bill Paulling officiating.

Mr. Fox was born in Batesburg, SC, son of the late Ernest and Willette Burkett Fox. He was a partner of Fox and Verenes, Attorneys at Law. He was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. Mr. Fox was a graduate of Graniteville High School, University of South Carolina, and USC School of Law. He was a former solicitor of the 2nd Circuit of S.C.

Surviving are his wife, Maggie Jones Fox; sons, Carson Fox; Austin Fox; daughters and sons-in-law, Eleanor (Robert) Shakar; Susan Fox (Paul Fleming); brothers and sisters-in-law, Brenda (Maxie) Auerhamer; Dale (Calvin) Holsenback; sister-in-law, Marlene Fox; and seven grandchildren, Preston, Price, Sullivan and William Shakar; and Ashtyn, Suttyn and Miller Fox. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Troy Ernest Fox.
