Celia Rebecca Hastings Pruett

Celia Rebecca Hastings Pruitt, 82, of Saluda, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the Hospice House. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 1, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Pruitt was born in Edgefield, SC daughter of the late Heyward and Celia Belle Willis Hastings. She was married to the late Henry Pierce Gibert, Jr. She was owner of a general store in Chappells, SC. Surviving are her son, Henry Lynn Gibert; daughter, Celia Marie Adams both of Ninety-Six; sisters, Shirley Henderson; Inez Drake; Nickey Ann Dorn; Brenda McCary; Shelby Barden; grandchildren: Melissa Leckliter, Jerry Crafton Adams, Amy, Nick, Adam and Lynn Gibert, Jr; and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Crafton Hastings; and son, Dean Pruitt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice House, Greenwood.
