Daniel Klicka

Daniel Craig Newman Klicka, 72, of Batesburg, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022. The graveside service for Mr. Klicka will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 11th, at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Honorary pallbearers will be: Ron and Bo Nelson, Larry Velasquez, David Crapps, Mike Fulmer, and Dr. Bill Mulkey.

Mr. Klicka was born in Charlotte, NC, a son of the late Anthony and Lillian Brown Klicka and the late Clara Joyce Pruitt Newman. He was master mechanical electrician and avid golfer. Mr. Klicka served in the United States Navy.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Katherine "Kathy" Senterfeit Klicka of Batesburg; daughter, Kazian Shull of Columbia; step-son, Barron Gantt; as well as five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers, Myrix Newman of Asheboro, NC and Tony Klicka (Brenda) of Lexington; sister, Connie McCoy (Ed) of Statesville, NC; and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kensla Joy Crapps and brothers, Jerry and Carey Klicka.
