Dean Wayne Stone

Dean Wayne Stone, 68, passed away Thursday, November 26th, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 29th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. John Yorio officiating. Active pallbearers will be David Miles, Matt Maroney, Logan Stone, Mike Duke, Robert Dolan, Chad Steele and Shaun Steele.

Mr. Stone was born in Batesburg, SC, a son of the late McNeil and Myrlee Sawyer Stone. He retired from Ansaldo after 43 years of service. Dean loved all animals and enjoyed playing golf with friends. Nothing was more important to Dean than his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Corder Stone; daughters and sons-in-law, Kayla (Jason) Womack, Whitney (Travis) Stone Taylor; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie (Sylvia) Stone, Dana (Tracy) Stone; grandchildren, Chelsey Steele, Breanna Taylor, Aiden Stone, and Abigail Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Matthews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 28th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at his home. The family will like to give a special thanks to MSA Home Health, Sonya Lane and Dana Robertson for all their love and care during this difficult time.
