Debra S. Morton

Debra S. Morton, 65, of Leesville passed in glory on Monday, July 17, 2023 at her home. Born in Uhrichsville, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Fay Louis and Delores Hizer Morton. She tried to stuff as much life as she could. She was a explorer of life and a artist who made so much beauty. God gifted her with so many gifts. Debra was strong in her beliefs and left a legacy of love behind. Her family loved her very much, but now she watches over and loves us from above, where she is loved by God more than all of us.

Surviving are her two sons, Adam Morton (Vanda) and Jared Allen (Christy); grandchildren, Teddy, Jackson, Dylan and Holly Morton, Ayshia, Topher and Sarah Allen. Also surviving are her sister, Terry Morton; along with nieces and nephews and their children, Bobbie Trolio (Brian), Anthony Trolio, John Folwer, Melanie Frick, Hailey Frick, Havyn Frick, Alisha Easterling, Austin Easterling, Mellissa Fowler, Zach Capko, Cody Capko, Ellissa Capko, Levi Robinson; as well as her sister-in-law, Rachel Rodgers.

The service for Mrs. Morton will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 22nd at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Glander officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Memorial Cemetery.
