Dennis Storey, Jr.

Dennis Storey, Jr, 80, of Batesburg, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018. Mr. Storey was born in Saluda County on August 15, 1937 to the late Dennis Storey, Sr and Ida Bell Davis Storey. Mr. Storey served in the US Army and retired from Oswald Lumber and Union Switch and Signal.

Funeral services will be held at Hulon Baptist Church at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 4, conducted by Rev. Robert Patterson and Rev. Robert Culbertson. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Betty Jean Quattlebaum Storey; daughters, Denise S. Cockrell, Cathy S. Currie, Erin S. Gunter (Amp) all of Leesville; five grandchildren, Kenna Sanders (CJ), Sarah McCullough (Lee), Sam Williams, Roni Asbill (Mark Allen), Ryan Currie (Sissy); and fourteen great grandchildren, Paris, Trista, Ja’Mia, Tripp, Emerie, Joey, Morgan, Cameron, Bryson, Hunter, Abby, Alyssa, Allie and Mason.
