Donald Kyzer, Sr.

Donald Ray Kyzer, Sr., 76, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 13th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with interment to follow in Boiling Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at the funeral home, and other times at his daughters home. Active pallbearers will be: Donald Ray Kyzer, Jr, Greg Lorick, Carl Lorick, Stanley Shumpert, Ronald Zook and Zane Corley.

Mr. Kyzer was born in Edgefield, SC, a son of the late Carl and Emma Williams Kyzer. He was an United States Army National Guard Veteran with 21 years of service. He also served as a Mason in the Pelion Masonic Lodge. Mr. Kyzer was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to farm.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Harriet S. Kyzer; daughter and son-in-law, Harriet K. Lorick (Greg); son, Donald Ray Kyzer, Jr; grandchildren, Carson Corley and Haven Rain Kyzer, Dray Alister Lorick, and sister, Evelyn Gantt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alen Kyzer.
