Dylan Scott Chavis

Dylan Scott Chavis, 22, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 18, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joseph Ross officiating. Dylan was born in Lexington, SC, son of Scott Chavis and the late Ola Mildred Denise Brentlinger Chavis. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gail Brentlinger. Surviving are his father, Scott Chavis; brothers, Catlyn Bell; Alex (Krystin) Bell; sister, Brittany Bell; aunts and uncles, Frances "Ran Ran" Brentlinger; Brandon Chavis; Melanie Chavis; Jamie Chavis; Donnie Chavis; Buddy Slagle; Candy Slagle; Floyd Senterfeit; cousins, Kayla Ayer; Ashely Bennett; nieces and nephews, Cryspin Bell; Leighlahn Scott; Nevaeh Scott; Brennan Scott; Spencer Bell; Priscilla Bell; Lisa Phillips; Jace Broadex; grandfathers, Ronald Chavis; John Brentlinger; grandmother, Beverly Ross; and girlfriend, Rachel Funkhauser.
