Edward "Sonny" Hook Jr.

Mr. Edward P "Sonny" Hook, Jr., 82, of Batesburg, died Friday, August 27, 2021 at his home. A visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Thursday, September 2nd, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.

Mr. Hook was born in Red Bank, SC, a son of the late Edward P. and Neil Whitaker Hook. He was known as the "Produce Man."

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Ella C. Goff; sons, Michael Lee Hook and Edward P. Hook, III "Eddie"; step-daughters, Brenda Lawson (Curlie), Dalphine Goff, Cathy Goff; and step-son, James Goff (Miranda). Also surviving are his sisters, Faye DeLoach and May Hook; and a brother, William Hook. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
