Eleanor Elva Burgess

Eleanor Elva Burgess, 74, of Leesville, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 28, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Paulling officiating. Active pallbearers will be Melvin Burgess, Marvin Burgess, Henry Gantt, Clifford Hall, Jodie McCormick and Larry Moates. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Hall and Neal Hall.

Mrs. Burgess was born in Samaria, SC, a daughter of the late Cecil and Suedora Gantt Hall.

Surviving are her husband, Joshua A. Burgess; brother, Leon “Shorty” Hall of Camden; and many extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Miller; brothers, Nelson, Colon, Crawford, Elmer and Ray Hall; and a sister, Gwendolyn Lucas.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday, December 27, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at her home.
