Ernest Bolin

Ernest Bolin, 80, of Leesville, was greeted by his heavenly father, Saturday, August 7, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 10th, at Hulon Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Judd Hook will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Tommy Sullivan, Ray Hutto, Brandon Gantt, Austin Murphy, Josh Brown, Kevin Brown, Chase Taylor and Bubba Bolin.

Mr. Bolin was born in Salley, a son of the late Bryant and Margie Bolin. Ernest was known as "The Music Man" and spend most of his life "putting on a show" for all who loved him. He was known for his wittiness, contagious smile and outgoing personality.

Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Carolyn; four children; 12 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren. He is also survived by three siblings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, a grandson and one great granddaughter.
