Evelyn G Smith

Evelyn G. Smith, 86, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 15, at West Creek Baptist Church with interment in Ridge Spring Cemetery with Rev. Hank Fanning officiating. Active pallbearers will be Charley Smith, Nick Matthews, Benjamin Smith, Benny Lee Padgett, Timmy Barnes and Ryan Padgett.

Mrs. Smith was born in Aiken, SC, daughter of the late Leonard H. and Grace Adams Taylor. She was married to the late English Phillip Smith.

Surviving are her children, Mary Turner; Larry (Faye) Smith; Alice Weaver; Eddie (Melissa) Smith; Leroy (Terry) Smith; James (Julie) Smith; sisters, Katherine Williams; Joanne Seeby; Shirley Barnette; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; and daughter, Annette Cunningham.
