Frances Padgett

Frances Padgett, 83, of Monetta, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday, June 19, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Spring Cemetery with Rev. Kyle Harmon officiating. Visitation will be held after the service at the funeral home, other times at the home of her son, Buddy, 232 Academy Street, Monetta, SC. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons. Mrs. Padgett was born Leesville, SC, daughter of the late Mollie Anderson Banks and Troy F. Banks. She was the owner of Granny's Kitchen in Monetta. Surviving are her husband, Ernest T. Padgett; sons, Ernest "Buddy" Padgett, Jr of Monetta; Gerald F. "Jerry" Padgett of Monetta; daughters and sons-in-law, Frankie (Charles) Ripley of Monetta; Wanda E. (Homer) Burkett of Batesburg; sister, Betty Bedenbaugh of Batesburg; ten grandchildren; and twenty one great-grandchildren.
