Francis Lavance Kyzer

Francis Lavance Kyzer, 71, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, January 24 at Convent Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Bill Padgett officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. before the service at the church.

Active pallbearers will be Corey Whitney, Austin Whitney, Mike Kyzer, Billy Kyzer, G.L. Kyzer, and Greg “Jack” Lorick. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Bryan and Allen Cureton.
Mr. Kyzer was born in Fairview, SC, son of the late Talmadge and Della Gantt Kyzer. He was a United States Army and Vietnam Veteran.

Surviving are his children, Lonie Jock (Nicole) Kyzer, Nina Lynn Kyzer, Joshua M. (Rebecca R.) Kyzer, Angel M. Moppin, Pia Nicole Kyzer, Tristan James (Alisha) Kyzer; brothers and sisters, Mary Ellen Shumpert, Talmadge Randolph Kyzer, Marion Laird Kyzer, James Kyzer, Rachel Kuehner; thirteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
