Freeda Ruth Warren Rikard

Mrs. Freeda Ruth Warren Rikard, 78, of Leesville, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023. Mrs. Rikard was born in Batesburg, the daughter of the late Moise "Bud" and Freeda Powell Warren. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church and later attended Eastside Baptist Church. She loved shopping, baking and eating chocolate. Her favorite thing to do was to spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Layman Rikard; son, Byron Rikard (Kathy); grandchildren, Courtney Hildebrand (Jason), Alisa Seawell, Brett Seawell (Veronica); along with her great grandchildren, Greyson and Hudson Hildebrand and Scarlet and Liam Seawell. Also surviving is her brother, Wilson Warren (Betty).

The funeral service for Mrs. Rikard will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, May 30th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with burial following in First Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Mitch Bruner will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 until 12:00 at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be her nephews:

Leslie Rikard, Jack O'Neal, Snookie Warren, Randall Warren, Ben Warren, Dean Bedenbaugh and Nolan Bedenbaugh.
