Gerald Wayne Carlyle

Gerald Wayne Carlyle, 72, of Leesville, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Born in Pinehurst, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Garland and Verta Lucinda Lineberry Carlyle. Affectionately known as "G," Gerald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a dedicated truck driver and an avid NASCAR fan.

Gerald is survived by his spouse, Debbie Brock; sons, Jeremy Carlyle, Christopher Carlyle, and Gerald Wayne Carlyle II; daughter, Cindy Stubbs; stepchildren, Josh and Sissy. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Joyce Futual, and sister-in-law, Wilma Carlyle. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his brothers, James and David Carlyle; his sisters, Joan Baxley, Stella Whitaker, and Peggy Patterson; and his granddaughter, Taylor Leighann Carlyle.

A service to honor Gerald's life will be held at 3 o'clock on Friday, January 31st at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Kirk officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2 o'clock. In Gerald's honor the family request that you come dressed casual.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Milton Shealy Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
