Harmon E. "Buddy" Fincher

Harmon Eugene "Buddy" Fincher, 80, of Aiken, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Mr. Fincher was born in Neeses, a son of the late Harmon A. and Mildred Jordon Fincher. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, where he oversaw the cemetery and served on various committees, including deaconship. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Fincher owned and ran Custom Metal Fab for a number of years.

Surviving are his wife, Janice Fincher; children, Lynn Richardson (Bert), Lisa Roberts (Tony), Travis Fincher (Angie); grandchildren, Christy Richardson, Hollie Roberts, Courtney Richardson, Harley Shelton (Kenny), Colby Roberts (Morgan), Chris Fincher (Madison); along with his great grandchildren, Molly June Roberts, Ella Grace Fincher and Jack Harmon Shelton. Also surviving are his siblings, Jessie Fincher, Janis Holsonback and Tammy Reese. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Marilyn Sanders, Edward Fincher and Patsy Rienzo.

The funeral service for Mr. Fincher will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 24th at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Vollie Gibbs will officiate the service along with his special friend James Cumbee. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 23rd at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, and other times at his home. Active pallbearers will be: Chris Fincher, Colby Roberts, Kenny Shelton, Bert Richardson, Tony Roberts and Paul Brown, Jr.
