Heyward Amick

Heyward Miller Amick, 81, of Batesburg, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. Mr. Amick was born in Lexington County, a son of the late Horace Clayburn and Eva Rosabell Frick Amick. He loved horses, animals, taking trips with his family and loved "joshing" with his family and friends. Mr. Amick loved candy and food in general and enjoyed meeting new people.

Surviving are his sister, Ann Amick Adams (Marvin); a brother, Bruce Amick (Bobbie); as well as a sister-in-law, Lib Amick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Frances Amick Davis (Harold), Caroline Amick Frick (Leon), Martha Ellen Amick, Hubert Amick (Mary), Thomas Amick (Peggy), Ray Amick and Robert Amick (Madeline).

The graveside service for Mr. Amick will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 3rd at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery with Pastor Mark Bredholt officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
