Heyward Edward Gandy, Sr.

Heyward Edward Gandy, Sr., 78, graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, April 28, at Convent Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Padgett officiating. Visitation will be held one hour after the service at the church.

Mr. Gandy was born in Richland County, SC son of the late Heyward Howard and Ethel Josephine Sanders Gandy. He was married to the late Delanie Williams. He was a member of Convent Baptist Church. He was self-employed.

Surviving are his son, Heyward Edward Gandy, Jr; sister, Linda Gandy-Statatakos; Gloria Stratakos; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He is predeceased by a son, Johnny D. Gandy.
