Hugh Wadsworth McIntosh

Leesville

Hugh Wadsworth McIntosh, 88, of Leesville passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Born in Stringer, Mississippi he was a son of the late Earl L. McIntosh and Helen Moore McIntosh. Mr. McIntosh was retired after 21 years of service as an Inflight Refueling System Repair Technician in the U.S. Air Force and from Lockheed Aerospace. He was a member of the Batesburg-Leesville Masonic Lodge #138 and also a long time member of Living Word Assembly of God in Lexington. Mr. McIntosh and his wife also enjoyed mission work with MAPS RVers.

Surviving are his wife of more than 66 years, Audrey Myers McIntosh; children, Phyllis Smith, Terri Zigan (Duane), Roy McIntosh (Lisa), Lena Kay Alarcon, Paula Argent (Mike), and Teresa McIntosh (widow of son, Glen); as well as 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. McIntosh was preceded in death by a son, Glen McIntosh; sisters, Helen Coleman and Jean Keltch; and brothers, David and Frank McIntosh.

The service for Mr. McIntosh will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with full military honors and Masonic Rites.  The Rev. Dave Perkins will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service from 2 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
