Irby Goff

Irby Goff, 78, of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Mr. Goff was born in Richland County, SC, the son of the late William Hinson and Claudia Elizabeth Irby Goff. He was the owner and operator of Irby's Auto for 43 years. Mr. Goff loved to drag race and was one of the original members of the Quick 8 Outlaws. He loved spending time with his grandkids, especially riding bikes on the beach and camping.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Sandra D. Goff; son and daughter-in-law, William Todd Goff (Jessica); and grandkids, Caroline Grace and Reagan Elizabeth Goff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Preston Swancey, Billy Goff and Bobby Goff.

The funeral service for Mr. Goff will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 18th at Pond Branch United Methodist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Reverend Drew Martin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, December 17th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
