Iris Shealy Covington

Iris Shealy Covington, 80, of Leesville, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Graveside service will be held at 8:00 AM Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held following the service at graveside.

Mrs. Covington was born in Columbia, SC daughter of the late Finis and Evelyn Shealy. She was married to the late Jasper Covington and had worked as a seamstress.

Surviving are her son, Anthony Covington; daughters and son-in-law, Sonya McCord (Bill) and Jocelyn Covington; brother, Denver Shealy; many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Steve Covington; brothers, Larry and Bobby Shealy.
