James Dearborn Cobb

July 17, 1938 — May 13, 2017

James Dearborn Cobb, 78, of Gilbert, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 16, at Amick Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Virgil Bagwell officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Cobb was born in Columbia, SC son of the late Frank W. Cobb and Margaret Koon Cobb. He was a member of Amick Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a carpenter and had worked in construction.

Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife, Gladys Cobb; daughters, Deborah E. Lybrand; Wendy M. Corder; Karen S. Goff; son, Donald R. Cobb; brothers, John W. Cobb and Herman D. Cobb; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was predeceased by brother, Thomas E. Cobb and sister, Ola Mae Sligh.
