James Johnson

James Clifford Johnson, 76, of Lexington, passed away September 22, 2022. He was born in Lancaster, SC, and was a son of the late Albert and Linda Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a member of Wayside Baptist Tabernacle.

Surviving are his wife, Martha Jackson Johnson; daughter, Deborah Medlin (Jimmy) of Mineral Springs, NC; son, John "Jamie" Hill of Lancaster; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with his step-children, Brenda Darlene Walker and Wayne Walker (Renee). Also surviving are his siblings, Florence Colb of Lancaster, Barbara Roebuck of Cayce, Lynn Johnson (Wanda) of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service for Mr. James will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, October 15th, at Wayside Baptist Tabernacle, 205 Pine Street, Pelion, SC. The Rev. Buckshot Williams will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 701 Gervais Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
