James Leonard Smith

James Leonard Smith, 78, of Ward, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 24, at Hurt Cemetery.

Mr. Smith was born in Batesburg, SC, son of the late Flemming and Elsie Baughman Smith. He was married to the late Jessie Parrish Smith.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Stuart (Judy) Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa (Randy) Thomas; brother and sister-in-law, Wade (Janelle) Smith; sister, Freida Tanner; grandchildren, Troy and Dillon Thomas; Andrea Wates; great grandchildren, Shayla and Annika Ager; Kellan Thomas; and Seth and Avery Wates.
