JoAnne Corder Waters

JoAnne Corder Waters, 85, of Leesville, passed away at 7:00 A.M. on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Mrs. Waters was born in Leesville, SC a daughter of the late Chester and Martha Rae Jennings Corder. She was married to the late Harold Wesley "Stoney" Waters, Sr. Mrs. Waters is on the song register and recorded songs with Grand Prize Records in Nashville. She loved deer hunting and crocheting.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Waters, Marty Waters (Tammy), and Ricky Corder; daughter-in-law, Nancy Waters; along with 10 grandchildren and great grandchildren, too many to mention but all loved. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Wesley and Joel Waters; brothers, Billy, C.W., George Ray, Theodore and Gerry Corder; half-brother, James Fox; and sister, Louise Bryant.

A private family service for Mrs. Waters will be held at a later date.
