John Mark Pullen, 77, of Aiken passed away on January 9, 2024. He was son of the late Stanley and Rita Pullen. John was a proud Navy Submarine Veteran (USS Simon Bolivar). He later went on to retire from the U.S. Department of Energy as a Nuclear Safety Engineer.

John was an avid reader, lover of history, meticulous storyteller, and Master Mr. Fix-It. He was always generous with his time and talents, and loved helping others. As someone who was passionate about education, John served as a substitute teacher after retirement. He was also an advocate for Released Time Bible Study for young people in nearby schools. John was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church.

John is survived by his wife, Anne; sons, Daniel and Daryl Pullen; step-daughters, Erica and Amanda Quattlebaum. Also surviving are his siblings, Dale Jean (DJ), Sharon, Jim, Terry, Greg, and Bill.

At John's request, no formal services will be held.
