John Russell Anderson

John Russell Anderson, 59, of Gilbert, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 2, at City of Hope Worship Center in West Columbia, with interment in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Leesville, with Pastor Pastor Neal Nolan officiating. Mr. Anderson was born in Saluda, SC, son of Dorothy Parrott Anderson and the late John Frank Anderson. He was the owner of Super Exterminating and was an avid lifelong fisherman. Who thoroughly enjoyed his children and grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Deborah "Debbie" Ann McCutcheon Anderson; sons, Sean (T.J.) Anderson; Justin (Jessica) Anderson; Justin Brown; daughters, Jennifer (Brad) Gunter; Laurin (Timothy) Haulbrook; sisters, Marjean Padgett; Rita (Bobby) Crocker; Angie (Randy) Padgett; brothers, Randy (Barbara) Anderson; Phillip (Lisa) Anderson; grandchildren, Cole, Alexis, and Haley Gunter; Chloe, Landell, and Alivia Anderson; Kyleigh Haulbrook; Madelyn Acree; Mason, Ethan, and Oakley Brown. He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Anderson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 1, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at his home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to City of Hope Worship Center Nursery Department.
