Johnny Oneal Fulmer, 74, of Batesburg, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 22, 2024. Born in Batesburg, he was the son of the late John Monroe Fulmer Jr. and Bobbie Cooper Fulmer. Mr. Fulmer was a U.S. Marine Veteran who proudly served his country. He was a welder and Poultry Grower by trade and was a member of Samara Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jennifer Rawl Fulmer; six children, Misty Carrol, Brian Fulmer (Fayth), Jeremy Fulmer, Brook Price, Dana Tyler, John David Fulmer (Lori) and Erica Bessinger (Trevor); 17 grandchildren, Caleb Beau, Luke, Cheyenne, Joshua, Justin, Beth Corder, Taylor, Johnny, Jennifer, Camryn, John David Jr., Cayleigh, Bailey, Aubrey, Emily, Brent and Thomas; as well as two great-grandchildren, Charlie, Jr and Emoree. Mr. Fulmer was also survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Sparks, Marie Deer (Howard), and Ruth Fulmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Dallas Corder and a sister, Martha Deer.
The service for Mr. Fulmer will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 26th at Samaria Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Metts and Rev. Brian Fulmer officiating. Burial with military honors will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 P.M.
