Jon Anthony Smith

Jon Anthony Smith, 56, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held after the service.

Mr. Smith was born in Prosperity, SC, son of the late Jacob E. Smith and Leila Sue Ella Riley. He was an Army National Guard Veteran.

Surviving are his daughters, Erin (Jack) Norton; Haley (Scott) Robinson; son, Justin (Cindi) Smith; brothers Ricky (Ree) Smith; Everette (Elaine) Smith; sisters, Patsy Clark; Brenda Morris; Christine Sanford; Diane (David) Pardue; Grace (Ralph) Corbesero; Jan (Gregg) Long; and grandchildren, Leila Kay Norton and Garrett and Abbi Robinson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Smith; brothers, Lanier, Walter and J.E. Smith and sisters, Sis Culver and Annette Threatt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
