Josephine Satcher Craps

Josephine Satcher Craps, 78, of Leesville, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 28, at St. James Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Gina Meetze officiating. Active pallbearers will be Benjamin McGee, Timmy Rogers, Chad Satcher, Mitch Craps, Mikkie Howard and Rodney Craps. Honorary pallbearers will be the St. James Lutheran Church Council.

Mrs. Craps was born in Aiken, SC, daughter of the late Leroy and Madelene Ergle Satcher. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. She loved flowers and crafting. Mrs. Craps loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Charlie H. Craps; son, Heyward Lee (Angela) Craps; daughter, Elaine Craps (Dewey) Gunter; brothers, Samuel, George and Larry Satcher; grandchildren, Jesse Craps, Nikki (Terry) Anderson, Dustin (Amy) Gunter, Delanie (Chris) Barefoot, Garrett (Kirstin) Gunter; and great grandchildren, Luke and Tyler Gunter and Oakley and Eva Barefoot. She was preceded in death by sisters, Sarrah McGee, Vadis Rogers and Margaret Ann Fulmer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 27, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at her home.
