Joshua Ryan Moore

Joshua Ryan Moore, 27, of Gaston earned his heavenly wings on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Born in Lexington County on August 28, 1996 he was a son to Anthony Scott Moore and Elaine Stone Moore. Josh was a very loving, compassionate and thoughtful person who would light up a room with his contagious smile. He loved his family and enjoyed playing and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Josh also loved to quail hunt with his dad and friends. He will be missed by his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his fiance of 10 years, Alexis Briannah Miller; his parents, Elaine Stone and Anthony Scott Moore (Michelle Garcia); his brother, Brandon Scott Moore; paternal grandparents, Kyle and Barbara Watson; and his maternal grandmother, Reba Roberts. Josh is also survived by 5 precious nieces and nephews: Miley Moore, Jazzlyn Moore, Vanessa Moore, Jake Moore and Sylas Moore. He is preceded in death by a brother, Justin Kyle Moore and maternal grandfather, Stanley Stone and Larry Roberts.

The service for Josh will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023 with the Rev. Charles Leonhardt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
