Joyce Mae Puckett

Batesburg- Joyce Mae Puckett, 88, passed Sunday, March 1, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 4, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Dennis Metts officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 4, before the service at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Christopher Leaphart, Jamie Bagwell, Todd Hallman, Brian Rauton, Jeff Storey, Roddy Storey and Greg Rauton. Mrs. Puckett was born in Agar, South Dakota, daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Suman Weischedel. She was married to the late Willard Puckett. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are her children, Peggy Maroney (John); Judy Rauton (Laurie Brown); Lynette Troutman (Benny); Debra Bar-dov; Frank Puckett (Kay); Gloria Allen (Ron); Diane Puckett (Donnie); and Kim Leaphart; brother, Bud Weischedel; sister, Irma Brandt; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Compassionate Hospice for their love and care.
