Judy Ann Orr Paradice

Judy Ann Orr Paradice, 70, of Batesburg, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024. From Rockport, MA, she was the daughter of Dorothy Supinsky Orr and the late Stephen R. Orr, Jr. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found joy in sewing, quilting, knitting, crafting, and baking. As a child, she cherished riding motorcycles with her father, ice skating, and camping with her family. Later in life, she took great pleasure in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and their friends. Judy attended Mt. Ebal Baptist Church and lived life as a devoted Christian. 

Surviving are her beloved husband of 46 years, Walter L. Paradice; daughter, Natalie Paradice Dark (John) of Alexander City, AL; sons, Walter B. Paradice (Whitney) and John H. Paradice both of Batesburg; along with her cherished grandchildren, Annsley, Sally, Harlon, Brye, Audrey, Hazel, Carly Sue and Sarah Ann. Also surviving are her mother, Dorothy S. Orr; brothers, Stephen R. Orr, III, Daniel R. Orr, Arthur E. Orr and William D. Orr; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Stephen R. and Mary Orr and Natalie Ann Supinski. 

The funeral service for Judy will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 22nd at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Paulling officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Ebal Baptist Church, 5 Lion Loop, Batesburg, SC 29006.
