Kimberly Nicole Leon, 52, of Batesburg-Leesville, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. She was born in Charleston, SC, to the late Harold Wesley and Doris Smith Waters.
Kimberly was a free spirit who loved the open road as a truck driver. She had a soft spot for wind chimes and snow globes, and if you knew her, you knew Halloween was her absolute favorite time of year—she went all out with decorations every year. But more than anything, she loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Ignacio Leon Luna; children, Joshua Crapps, Joseph Crapps, Amanda Tindal, Adriana Leon-Morgensen, Isabel Leon, and Claudya Leon; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy. She is also survived by her sister, Ruby Ramirez. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Travis Crapps, and sister, Weslie Marie Waters.
Honoring Kimberly’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
