Larry Gene Smith

Larry Gene Smith, 66, of Leesville, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 14, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Patrick Arrants officiating.

Mr. Smith was born in Leesville, SC son of the late George Washington Smith and Myrtie Irene Oswald Hall Smith. He had worked for J. B. Martin Co. as an inspector.

Surviving are his daughter, Patricia Elaine Smith Rodgers; Mary Ellen Armenta; granddaughters, Ashley Nicole and Amanda Marie Rodgers; brother, George Washington Smith Jr.; half-brothers, Henry Brenton, Clifton, Ralph Hall; half-sisters, Mittie Ruth Smith Price, Edna Rachel Smith Storey, Irene Hall Smith, Erlene Hall Swygert; He was predeceased by his mother, Myrtie Irene Smith; half-brothers, James Gary Smith, James Truitt Hall; James Brice; half-sisters, Rosa Bell Hall; Marilyn Loretta Smith Smith; and Carrie Lue Hall Spurlock.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Wednesday July 13, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
